School
Policies
Hang all street wear, coats and shoes in observation hallway or locker room. Bring valuables into class. No food/drink, coats, or shoes/boots in the studio.
PLEASE: No sitting, standing running, clothing, bags, eating or playing/loud voices in shared MAC entrance lobby. Move to observation hallway to hang up clothing and wait, and pick up students under age 12 inside the building. Enjoy snacks in the commons.
DRESS CODE:
- Youth ballet students (ages 3-18) wear black leotard, pink tights, and pink leather ballet slippers. Adults and jazz dancers may choose colors and shoe style (teacher discretion).
- All ballet dancers’ hair should be secured tightly off face with headband/clips, and long hair attached to back of head with bobby pins. Please: NO PONYTAILS twisted with unsecured scrunchies.
- No jewelry, including watches. All students should bring a closing water bottle, tissues, band-aids, hair styling, and personal hygiene items.
- Class observation is always welcome from the observation area, during posted visitations, and by appointment.
- Youth ballet students (ages 3-18) perform in-class in loaned Ballet University costumes and regularly around the community with Verona Youth Ballet’s “Nutcrackers,” Spring Showcase, and Hometown Days.
- Classes
with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation.
Ballet
U, LLC reserves the right to occasionally photograph/videotape students
for use in advertising and training.
Parents
may also enjoy the other MAC Center amenities including the fitness club, massage and physical therapy!
Directions:
The Verona MAC Sport Center is located at Highway M and the 18-151 Bypass.
Westbound: Exit 18-151 at PB, turn left, go under highway, and turn right onto M. Go over the highway, then take the first left onto Prairie Heights Drive, then first left into MAC parking lot.
Eastbound: Exit Highway M, turn right onto PB, then right on M. Follow directions above. Studio is inside the MAC front door to the right.
